This #ConcreteBae who hails from the Concrete Jungle (New York City) is Jacqueline M. Koh, an award-winning Photographer, and Maker, Designer, and Creative behind the MEIZAN brand. 

She started making the Zodiac Collection as gifts for family and friends, who then requested to purchase them as gifts for their loved ones. This sparked the idea of a small business and she began selling her small batch, hand made, concrete home decor at local pop-up markets in Los Angeles and Orange County in the Fall of 2024.

Jacqueline's diverse multi-disciplinary career includes being an Interior Designer for luxury hotels and restaurants in NYC and Singapore. With a Masters in Luxury Design from Milan, Italy, her global experience in art, design, and high-end aesthetics, enhance Jacqueline's creations and designs for products that harmonize beautiful form and function. 

Jacqueline has grown up with multi-cultural experiences and is multi-lingual. Her brand MEIZAN, is a play on the French word “maison”, which means “home” and “MEI” is her Chinese name which means “beautiful”. MEIZAN is a collection of beautiful, small batch, handmade concrete home decor that blends contemporary design with function. Starting out in powder form, the stunning concrete trays, bowls, jars, tea light candle holders, etc are offered in a variety of grounding colors, textures, and shapes. Due to the nature of the material, no two products are exactly alike so they make for unique home decor items to own and to gift.
